That English Girl

Hello again so soon! I couldn't fit all my news from the last month into 1 blog, so here is the 2nd part which I'm super excited to write about. I have had 6 months of complete and utter life changing situations happening, one after the other. Now as strong as I am, it began to take a toll on my usually positive and strong character and I began to look around for something or someone to give me some help. Now..... re-wind back to 17th September 2016 11:00am, I had been hosting a meeting in a coffee house and was on my out when I heard someone chasing behind me to ask about the English services I could offer, this woman struck me as someone full of character and energy and I immediately warmed to her. A quick exchange of numbers and I left feeling really uplifted by the fact she noticed me working and her direct and determined nature, to just make the contact! Good evening souls, I am so excited to be writing this particular blog because in the last month I have been on quite an amazing trip and interviewed a woman who has totally inspired me since the first day I met her! I don't even know where to start, so I'll just try from the beginning shall I? So after creating a Facebook page www.facebook.com/thatenglishgirl because I felt I had something to say to the world I finally began my dream of blogging after a little help from an IT wizz kid and created That English Girl blog spot!  I am by no means an outstanding writer or anyone famous BUT I am a girl whose life is full, challenging, sometimes chaotic but most importantly REAL! This mission which I do choose to accept is to overcome the dreaded thing called FEAR!  During the creation of my business (That English Place if you didn't know;)) I was consumed with an overwhelming feeling of fear and time after time I heard the phrase 'feel the fear and do it anyway!' so I did! Good morning world, let me start by saying sorry for such a huge gap between blogs! I managed to lock myself out but those who know me personally won't be surprised by this ;) A lot has happened over the last month in a professional sense, I made the very tough decision to close my English themed cofffee shop and pass the reigns over to another couple who will open in a few weeks time under a different name whilst I build  up the education side to my business. Why would I do such a thing I hear you ask? Well I had this thing called work/life balance screaming at me in the face every single day and the other side of my company which is teaching English was proving to be extremely popular and as much as I wanted to give Gdynia some place new and valuable when learning English, it was taking away from the time I could spend really focusing on giving the best of me as a teacher to my students. Dear world, I'm sorry that I keep making you wait between posts! No excuses, I've been avoiding sitting still long enough to put all of my thoughts down in my blog;)  I am currently bed ridden with a bout of Tonsillitis so I can't avoid it any more so here goes! Recently I have invested a lot of my time in trying new things in the last few months, Muay Thai Boxing, Pole Dance Fitness, Krav Maga, Cold Water Swimming..... plus many more to come! Not many people understand depression or anxiety attacks but it happens even to people like me, someone who prides herself on making others smile and feel good yet I couldn't do the same for myself. Unfortunately it's also an illness which causes feelings of shame and embarrassment, so I decided to take the first step and that is to tell people.
